David got involved in local government in the late 1980’s when there was an initiative to change the flight restrictions, better known as the curfew, at the airport in Kalamazoo. He activated his neighbors and got involved to not just protect the Milwood and North Portage neighbors to the airport, but to understand and work together with Government to make Kalamazoo a better place to live.
