Blue Tigers Garden Project

May 1, 2010 - 11:00pm - 11:59pm

The Blue Tigers, a community activist group and arm of the KCDP, has a wonderful garden project in the works and needs your help.  We are working in the Edison Neighborhood in Kalamazoo City and empowering the community by helping them plant their own small square foot gardens.

A square-foot garden is simply a 5ft x 14in plot in which we will help till the soil and then put up a small trellis.  We have 300 tomato pepper plants that have been donated, and will be planted in the small gardens.
