You Did It! Mission Accomplished!

Democrats - and Democracy - had a great victory on November 4 and we want to thank all of you who had a hand in helping with the spectacular local effort that led to a number of successes from township trustee on up.

Your county party had a well thought-out plan, put it into action and, with your enthusiastic help, we ended up with many victories - but also a few unexpected disappointments.

We want to thank all of our supporters - those who gave of their time, money, food, feet, voices, and more!

Election Recap

What a great election victory - and you Democrats deserve much of the credit. Obama carried the day with 77,000 votes, shattering the previous record of 61,000 Democratic votes in '04. As a matter of fact, Carl Levin, Sandy Lipsey, Pat Crowley, Richard Fuller and Gary Giguere all received more than 61,000 votes this year. Only Proposition 1 got more votes than Obama - setting the new county record of 81,000 Yes votes.
