KCDP Reaction to Mass. Senate Election

Last nights Special Election for the Senate seat held the late Ted Kennedy for nearly half a century marked a disappointing turning point for healthcare reform in the United States. With the addition of another ardent opponent of affordable healthcare, Wall Street and the giant healthcare corporations supported by the Republican Party have gained a tighter grip on the health and well being of our nation, as well as ensured the status-quo of our broken healthcare system that has threatened our economic future for much too long.

Should Road Commission make Decision on Gravel Truck Route?

An amendment authorizing county road commissions to make the decision on border roads that are in dispute between townships passed both the Michigan House and the Senate.  Rep. Bob Jones (Dist. 60) voted against the amendment.
