Brown Todd Wolpe Dinner A Success
The biennial Brown Todd Wolpe Dinner
held on October 23 at City Scape in downtown Kalamazoo was a great
success. The more than 180 who attended had a great time meeting old
friends and making new ones. City Scape is a classy venue and
everyone agreed that it was a wonderful evening.
Ann Lipsey was the recipient of the Brown Todd Wolpe Award this year for her work as the Executive Director of Loaves and Fishes and with those in need. Ann gave very meaningful and heart felt remarks. State Senator Glenn Anderson was the guest speaker.
The Brown Todd Wolpe Dinner is the Major KCDP fundraiser of the year. While these are difficult economic times, and fewer people attended than two year ago, we made considerably more money this year for the party. Well done Millie Lambert and the BTW committee.
