Dr. Crowley holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology (Emphasis : Ecology and Systematics) from San Francisco State University, a Master of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Water Resources Management with a specialty in Environmental Monitoring and Small Watershed Engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy from Michigan State University in Agricultural Technology and Systems Management.For six years, Dr. Crowley was an Environmental Analyst with the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality in the Environmental Response and Underground Storage Tank Divisions, overseeing the cleanups of hundreds of sites of environmental contamination in Southwest Michigan. Dr. Crowley was responsible for regulatory compliance issues, non-point source pollution modeling, and served as project hydrologist for the Kalamazoo River Water Quality Trading Demonstration Project. Dr. Crowley is a state and internationally qualified crop advisor and head of AMERICAN FARM ENVIRONMENT, LLC a firm specializing in nutrient and water management for livestock and composting operations. She has recently completed three classes in accounting.
