Hunger Moon Soup Kitchen

Our 2nd Annual Hunger Moon Soup Kitchen will be February 2010. Once again we'll be inviting people into our homes for a big pot of homemade soup and an opportunity to raise awareness of the urgent issue of hunger in Kalamazoo County and at the same time raise funds for Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes.

But, people are hungry NOW. So we're doing some "kitchen prep." Beautiful 4-color postcards, a way to honor special people by making a donation in their names, are available at Dem HQ. Make your list of honorees, write a donation check to KL&F (suggested donation $5-$10 each); pick up your postcards and send them on their way. KCDP will deliver your check and honoree list so their names will go into the KL&F newsletter. Can't get in to the office?
