The republicans, aided and abetted by their tea party allies have for the last three years, obstructed, balked and blocked every single initiative brought to the table by President Obama and our elected Democratic officials. Whether its issues like Health-Care Reform or the Presidents Jobs Plan, the party of NO continues to do one thing, say NO! Now it's time for Democrats to say YES! YES to our President and YES to the KCDP!
In the weeks and months ahead, the KCDP will be ready to give the voters the choice of hope over fear, the future over the past, and diversity over ideology. The KCDP can't do without you; we need your help. In order to achieve our goals, we have implemented something new to the KCDP - A Sustainable Giving Program. Our sustainable giving program is an easy way for you to give to the KCDP on a monthly basis to help:
- Keep the KCDP office open year-round with full-time professional staff;
- Enable our professional staff people to work on the solutions and policies that are the bedrock of our small "d" democratic principles;
- Get the positive message of hope and change to the voters of Kalamazoo County throughout the year.
President Obama must win re-election and he can't win without your help. The path to 270 electoral votes and victory goes through Michigan.
