KCDP Candidate Podcast #15 - Libby Heiny-Cogswell

Libby is a Landscape Architect, skills that will serve her well as Township Supervisor. A 19 year resident of Oshtemo, for six years she was on the township planning commission. Libby recognizes the need for increased road patrols in Oshtemo, and is concerned about preserving the rural character of the township. She is also very interested in incorporating native plantings in local development projects. Her constituents have told her about the issues that affect them close to home, like safe walks to schools, keeping down thru-traffic in neighborhoods, the quality of snow removal services and demand for leaf pick-up services. She's an outdoors person, who loves kayaking and is a member of the Southwest Michigan Botanical Club. She has three sons, ages 15 to 22.
