Meet the candidates with Jocelyn Benson
Meet Jocelyn Benson, candidate for Michigan secretary of state, at the
downtown Kalamazoo Public Library, Van Deusen Room, 315 S. Rose St.,
from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 6.
Benson teaches election law at Wayne State University Law School,
developed the first nationwide election protection program for the
Democratic National Committee, graduate of Wellesley, Oxford and
Harvard Law. Benson will make a brief presentation and take questions. http://www.votebenson.com
Other candidates for state office will be introduced, and you'll have
an opportunity to meet them following Benson's presentation. Planning
to attend are Robert B. Jones, John Taylor and Mark Totten, candidates
for state senate (20th); Sean McCann and Chris Praedel, candidates for
state house (60th); and Thomas Batten, candidate for state house (61st).
