Scott Spicer: Online Activist Superhero
Scott Spicer is recognized by the KCDP New Media committee as an online activist supporting progressive causes through use of social media. He has over 700 friends on Facebook and 548 Twitter followers. He is active on Twitter, posting frequently and following a great number of progressive and social justice organizations. In the course of a month he garnered 13 “likes” on his Facebook posts, showing that people are engaged with what he’s saying, and on Facebook he posted 14 times with socially relevant updates.
Scott Spicer is a consultant with a background in public health and social sciences and has over ten years of professional experience in the nonprofit industry. Scott is running for Kalamazoo County Commission in 2012.
