February 16: Lee Kirk and the Community Promise community development federal credit union in development to serve the Edison neighborhood and the underserved in Kalamazoo with fair financial services and education.

March 15: Small Business Forum. Several small business owners from Kalamazoo will address the following questions, among others:
• Do you feel that the values of the Democratic Party mesh or are capable of meshing with the role of a small business owner?
• Why do you think the Republicans “own” business issues?  How can we alter this?

April 19: Mark Brewer, Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party.
